ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Living in Northern California means the temperature can vary throughout the day, any time of the year. I have been looking for a fleece that is somewhat stylish but that would also keep me warm on chilly mornings or nights. I finally found what I was looking for. This fleece does just what is says by keeping out the wind. There are lots of pockets for my keys, cell phone and even the garage door opener. It's super soft and looks great. Another great product from LL Bean!

This is the second Wind Challenger Fleece jacket that I have purchased from LL Bean. It is as advertised. It's terrific for running or any outdoor sport in the Winter or early Spring. It blocks the wind and repels rain and snow. I have been running for over 20 years and it's the best jacket I have ever worn. Very comfortable and roomy.
This jacket, while it fit perfectly and I love the color, was not up to LL Bean standards........the material was not a soft fleece, but rather felt like a "spongy" material and cheap.. Won't keep me from shopping at LL Bean tho!!

This jacket is a really great part of my walking/biking outfit/gear. It is definitely windproof, even zooming down hills! I wore this with the lighter weight jacket and a tee shirt. While biking and walking, it is good for 35-55 degree temps, winds 0-15 mph. I love the roomy, zippered pockets and the hood. It is not too stiff, kind of a soft stiff. Washes and dries well too. I bought 3 of these.
