I just got this jacket and have not had a chance to wear it outside yet so I can't say how well it works in windy weather. But, I like the fit. I like the snugness around the hood. I like that the zipper, which would ordinarily be rubbing against my face, is covered with a fabric flap. So far, so good. I'm just waiting for a windy day so I can test it for wind resistance.
ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This product does what LLBean claims it will -- warm, lightweight, stops the wind. Comfortable when it gets warm into the 50's, and keeps me warm at night in the 30's with wind. The XS fit is just right for my size 2 body.
The light weight is an outstanding feature. Also a good fit and color (dark blue). Things I don't like so much are light blue edge/trim on sleeves, and the pockets, when not zipped, show the while mesh, which I would prefer be a dark color.
