This jacket is great for travel. It is not bulky, but still provides warmth. The inside pockets are just the right size for boarding passes and a passport.
I bought this coat when it was on the morning markdown and couldn't decide between colors so I bought two with the idea that I would return one. After the first wear one windy day, I LOVED the coat and kept both! It is a little stiff to wear but once you realize the wind protection it gives, the stiffness doesn't matter!
This is my fourth windchallenger fleece. I think they are excellent because they block the wind & when I travel I can have a wide range of comfort just by adding or subtracting over & under it. I've attached a photo with a windchallenger UNDER a lighter jacket in Alaska.
This is the second one purchased. First one served my wife very well for 4-5 years. Very warm for the weight of the jacket. Comfortable with active motion activities.
