This jacket is warm, lightweight and a fabulous windbreaker. I fell in love hte first time that I wore it! I rode my bike to work this morning and arrived toasty and energized. I would recommend it for anyone!
Normally wear a small (5'4" 125 lbs) but the medium allows for a sweater underneath which is generally my attire in upstate NY. I love the hood, adjustments in the bottom, and the more shapely fit. Bought one a couple of years ago that was more boxy and you couldn't adjust the bottom, but I've worn and washed it many times and it still looks great. Hope the new one holds up like my old one.
I tried the XL and 1X hoping that the sleeve length would be okay. But, unfortunately, it wasn't. I am 5'10"and have long arms. Wish LL Bean would have tall sizes for jackets, blouses, etc. Coat was lovely, though.
this is a great, lightweight, very warm and well fiting jacket. I use it to commute to work - 5 stars. I would like some other color choices - perhaps a cobalt blue - I like the men's colors and would like to see them offered in the women's fit.
