I bought the older version of this jacket several years ago and loved it... wore it 9 months of the year, sometimes on its own and sometimes under another jacket. Unfortunately, it's showing its years of hard use so I got a new one.
The new one looks OK... same material, same outside zip pockets, better front zipper. But, it's too short so it doesn't cover enough. Plus, the inside pockets are open, meaning they're not really usable for much.
I'll keep it, but I wish they hadn't made some of the changes.
I normally wear a M but ordered the L as I wanted a bigger jacket and it was too small ! Sleeves were too short and was too fitted for me. I will be sending this back and looking for another jacket.
This is a great jacket. Warm and comfortable and great looking. Wind resistance is great. I have had mine for a year and recently ordered two more, one for each of my daughters for Christmas gifts.
