This jacket is wondeful for cool, windy conditions. It does an amazing job at blocking the wind. It is a little stiff at first but after you wash it- perfect.
I love the windproof and water resistance features of this jacket; these features are what make a warm jacket. Love the hood - I walk a lot and if got caught in a sprinkle or rain, the jacket kept me dry. It also keeps your hair in place. This jacket keeps you warm in mild winters in eastern Tennessee - except for the very coldest days. If walk/jog & work up a sweat-this jacket is great because it won't be too warm as in a much heavier coat. Have the teal color & like it as I wear a lot of blues and greens. FEATURES that Need Corrected: 1) sleeves are a bit too short, tho banding is nice; 2) could add a little bit of length to the hood; 3) pockets need to be lined-mesh as pockets are worthless for warmth & keys snag on the mesh. Would like to purchase this next fall with these faults corrected. Jacket held up well after a washing.
I love this jacket. I live in Rochester, MN, a very windy city. This jacket keeps me very warm and is very lightweight. It is not as soft as some fleece, but the warmth is worth it.
I have had such a hard time finding a fleece jacket with a hood that is suitable for cold, windy, wet weather and I was so happy to find this jacket. It is warm without being bulky and has a nice hood and pockets that zip up easily.
The material is fine. I saw some reviews complaining about the fleece- but I think it is fine and will hold up better in the rain. I didn't think they ran small. The sleeves are sightly banded so they help so they aren't too long on me (I normally wear a 6Petite). I ordered a small and medium but the small was fine and the material is stretchy so it doesn't feel tight.
