I usually wear a large jacket, but I ordered this in an extra large to have extra room for layering. It fits like a medium!! I was so disappointed. It was not at all what I was expecting. I couldn't even get comfortable in it with only a tshirt underneath.
This jacket is exactly what I needed, it is very comfy and blocks the wind on a cold day without adding alot of bulkiness. Perfect for walking the dog, going to the park or just running errands. Great quality. I will buy another one in another color. Locally people say "if you do not like the weather in west texas, then just wait alittle bit and it will change to something else you may like" Well this is the perfect jacket for our crazy weather out here which ranges from 30 to 80 degrees in winter.
I ordered this jacket because other fleeces don't help when it's cold AND windy outside. This fleece does exactly that. That extra chill from windy conditions is a thing of the past. The fabric is stiffer like all windblocking fleeces, and offers some rain protection as well. I also like the zippered pockets (two outside and one inside). The hood stays on for me despite the lack of any drawstring, and I have a big noggin. I also like the way this jacket is cut, as I am a big girl and don't like jackets to be fitted. The only drawback is if the temperature is in the mid fifties or higher, this jacket gets stuffy fast. I have to check the weather outside to see if it's cold and windy enough to warrant wearing. It is otherwise a fabulous jacket and I recommend it highly.
