I had so much trouble finding the right jacket to wear when taking walks in Michigan in the Fall and Early spring and this jacket is perfect. It zips up around my neck, has a hood in case I forgot my hat and is just warm enough because so often we need a wind breaker and a heavy sweatshirt and this is an all in one apparel
Another wonderful purchase from Bean. One of my favorite features is the the zipper guard, it protects your chin and neck from the cold zipper. This is new since the last one I got a few years ago. Always pleased with LL Bean.
I have no problem with the thickness of the fabric or the texture of the fleece. I LOVE the hood, but I'm so sad that the sleeves are too short. I'm tall -- 5'8 -- and I've found that many of the women's outerwear items leave me with cold wrists. Alas, perhaps this is one of the few things I do not like about LLBean. Wish I could keep the jacket!
I ordered this jacket because the reviews said the sleeves were short and it had elastic around the sleeves. I have very short arms and it was still too long. But, the reason I'm returning it is that it's too tight around the upper arm. If I pull my arms forward like I'm driving a car, it cuts on my upper arm. It does run small. I wish they would come back with cuffs on coats. Also, I would like to see Women's petites (like the other guy's)
