These are the most amazing flannel sheets ever. Soft, cozy, wrinkle free, and very generous. Typically when I buy sheets in sets, the top sheet is never wide enough for my queen size bed. Since I was ordering pieces separately from LLBean, I decided to order a king size top sheet, but now realize maybe it wasn't necessary. It touches the floor on both sides and I have a pretty high bed. I ordered the flowered pattern in blue which is lovely.
I've just spent the past 1/2 hour cleaning out my linen cupboard and tossing poor fitting sheets into a bag for a yard sale. Only LLBean sheets for me from now on. You won't be disappointed. A little pricey but well worth it.
These are the most expensive flannel sheets I've ever purchased. That said, they're worth every penny. I now have them in both White/Sandbar. Size is generous. Color is true. SO thick and soft. We look forward to the 1st cold night of the season so that we can pull these out of the linen closet. Only the Premium Supima will do. Going to spluge for a twin set next for my son.
I use flannel sheets year round in New England and have used another brand for years until I could no longer find them. I was reluctant to try these sheets because I thought the price was high...but they are quality all around and well worth it. They are thick and fit my extra deep Queen bed perfectly. I will be keeping my eye on these to see if they ever go on sale - if so, I will get another pair. I was disappointed, however, in the "sandbar" color. I was expecting a tan or taupe and it is more of a "grey" putty color
Love these sheets! They are like a soft and warm Egyptian cotton, not thick or heavy but they also do not pill. A great compromise for myself and husband as he likes summer sheets and I start whining for the flannel by Oct. He does not find them overly warm and I find that warm enough for me.
