Ordered the fitted, flat and set of pillowcases for our King size bed. Material nice and soft, makes you look forward to bedtime on chilly nights! Have washed and dried on Low, no noticeable shrinkage so far (only laundered twice). However, the flat sheet seems to have excess material for the length, while the width is short. That being said, I give extra sheet on my husband's side of the bed, since he's 6'4". I think if LLBean took some of the excess material from the length and distributed it to the width, the sheet would be perfect!
This is a gorgeous, fine flannel top sheet that has a superior hand. I purchased it (king) to be used as a light blanket-type liner under our down comforter because we don't like heavy covers. We have a German flannel blanket from another company and found it to be too heavy and rough. My only complaint is the excessive length and somewhat short sides. If you are very tall and like to untuck your top sheet when you sleep you will appreciate the length. Otherwise I find it to be an odd length.
I purchased two flat king sheets. The mid-blue floral and the solid ice blue. The Mid Blue Floral fits fine, in fact it is two inches longer than the standard 108 inch length. The solid color Ice Blue is the correct length of 108 inches, but at 108X101 it is nine inches narrower than the standard 110 inch width. It barely goes over the side of the mattress. The sheets are warm, soft, and inviting. But I can't give it a higher rating since it is much too narrow. Frankly I expect more from an LLBean sheet for which I paid $79.
I purchased the whole set of these sheets (including the pillow cases) and love them. I have purchased a number of sets of flannel sheets over the years and these are by far the best. They fit our queen bed perfectly and they are the softest flannel ever! Would spend the money for them again in a heart beat.
