King sized Premium Supima Flannel Sheets
PostedMarch 15, 2011
I bought the King sized Premium Supima flannel sheets because they were 6 oz and the fitted sheets had deep pockets.
The sheets are very soft and fluffy and the fitted sheet does in fact have very deep pockets. The problem is the flat sheet was not made big enough for a mattress with thick sides! We cannot tuck it in. The flat sheet should have been designed to fit the same size mattress as the fitted sheet.
So, if you don't care about tucking in your top sheet go ahead and buy these sheets.

Best Flannel Sheets Ever!!
PostedFebruary 28, 2011
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, soft, easy to care for
I bought these sheets based on other reviewers' assurances that "I would not be disappointed!" and I certainly was not! These are undoubtedly the finest flannel sheets I have ever found and the only ones I've ever found to be really acceptable. There was a moderate amount of lint in the dryer screen after the first washing/dryng but no strings of wet fluff lining the washer tub as I usually have with other brands. After sleeping on them for a week, there has been NO pilling, not even under our feet. Usually flannel sheets - even 'good' brands - shed over everything throughout the first half dozen washings, and require so much care that they are hardly worth the trouble. These ones not only don't pill, they are thick and soft, like chamois. They are heaven to sleep on on a cold winter's night. Furthermore, after a second trip through the washer and dryer there is very llittle lint and they do not appear to be shrinking at all. I ordered the Sandbar colour, which is a lovely soft neutral shade. These sheets are expensive but definitely worth every penny.
If I could make one suggestion, it would be that the flat sheets could be a little wider to accomodate extra deep matresses. My mattress is 12" so the queen size was just perfect, but it wouldn't tuck into a deeper mattress, and I know some are as deep as 16-18 inches. There is extra length, so no problem tucking it in at the bottom.
Thanks for a quality product, L.L. Bean!

Love these sheets

ProsComfortable
Had not had flannel sheets in years, as I thought they were for kids, but these are GREAT sheets. Love. There is nothing not to like. They look great, launder great, and sleep like a dream. They are thick and lush. I sleep in the buff and these are perfect and soft on my skin. I'm ordering more.
