I bought a set of king size Premium Supima flannels for myself before purchasing as a gift. I'm quite disappointed. I had been told that these were heavy, heavy flannel sheets but they are not. I have not yet decided if I will keep them (my husband was crestfallen at how thin these are). I do love the colors (Bay Leaf and the lighter green) and we use them year round. They seem to be very well made and have nice tight threading. The weight just isn't what I was informed it would be. For the price I really expected them to be very heavy/thick, just like a set I purchased 2 yrs. ago. (If I ever find a set like those flannels I will buy 10 sets!) Just don't know where to go for a set of heavy/thick flannels because if L.L. Bean doesn't have the thickest, softest and most heavy flannel sheets, I don't know where else will.
These sheets are like new after 1 year. No pilling, smooth as satin and very warm. My husband who never wanted flannel sheets, loves them. Another super quality product of LLBean.
In have bought LLBean's premium flannel bedding for all our winter bedding. They last many years with NO piling. I Just replaced the 8 year old sets this year! And I had a hard time throwing them out.....could I get one more year. SO soft and warm. You will enjoy them!
