Bought this jacket for my husband, who often works outside. It keeps him perfectly dry, even in driving rain. It fits well; he takes a large and this fits true to size. It is lightweight and does not bind anyhwere. I gave four stars because of the difficulty in starting the zipper. We will exchange it for the same jacket because of this problem.
I love the jacket. It's comfortable, light weight and keeps me dry. I had seen a number of other jackets under different labels, and for less money - but honestly you get what you pay for. I'd buy this jacket all over again in a heartbeat!!! The over-all quality is second to none.
I've used this jacket for downhill skiing in resorts and in backcountry skiing tours and it's held up pretty well. I tend to sweat a lot while touring and the breathability on this product was excellent. I like the light weight and deep pockets. Paired with a fleece jacket, it's warm enough for the height of winter.
This is a great jacket, excellent seam welding, many pockets, tight zippers, large enough for warm liners, great ventilation, many adjustments for fit. This jacket needs a stowe for the hood, it flops around and looks not quite finished. If it had hood stowe it would be excellent.
