I had the older version of this jacket that just wouldn't wear out. But when I saw it on sale I couldn't resist. I bought the the same size but in a more updated color. It's a little shorter than the older version but that's ok because I'm petite. The material is more comfortable and the pockets are great. I live in Massachusetts and wear it all seasons except during the summer. It has the vents on the side to keep you cool and of course it's water proof.
I bought this on sale in July, and have been wearing it ever since. Riding home on bike in the rain, I stayed warm and dry. The windproof hood is great while snowshoeing, as is the weight of the jacket. Plenty of room for layers underneath, and I bought my usual size. I am really happy with this jacket so far. My only complaint is it doesn't zip as easily as I might like. However, it's a fantastic jacket. Great value.
Reliable Gore-tex quality; excellent quality for the reduced price! Sizing was fine. Only surprise was the color; it was more of a orange-red rather than the brick-red I was expecting. Still receive lots of compliments about the color though.

Fits perfectly over my Bean lined hoodie to create ideal Canadian west coast winter coat ( read RAIN and WIND). No issues with length at all. This is perfect for me. I am however quite short through the torso and 5'3''. Pretty colour too. I like the sealed zippers and the extra deep hood. Now for some storm chasing! From Comox BC
