The fit runs small. There is no way to wear a sweater or fleece under it. The color red is an orangey red, not a pretty red and the cost for what you get it not a great value.

This is a great rain jacket. Looks nice, fits great, love that it's available in petit sizes. Had it over a year now and it's held up great. Love it. Although I noticed it is now $100 more than when I bought it, not sure it would be a good value at it's current pricing.
I really want to love this jacket as everything about it is topnotch EXCEPT the sizing totally off. Armholes are very tight if you want to wear anything beneath. Being a shell expected cut of garment to allow for a fleece and perhaps a vest underneath-not. Even with sizing up I ended up with the body of the jacket loose but the arms/arm holes are still quite tight. (I'm tall and slim and usually would wear a small/tall). I find more detail, including warmth factors seem to go to men's gear. Hopefully, Bean's will work on restyling this garment for women so that it will have a better fit. This would work fine for warm weather with no layering.
I ordered the Medium after ordering a large in a vest and wishing I ordered a medium. The sizing chart dictates that I should have bought a Medium, but it was too small. It fit okay in the chest, but being a shell I would have to wear something warm underneath and that took up too much space. The arms though were way to short. I may have slightly long arms? The coat was pretty nice though - pockets not bulky, color was good - I ordered the dark blue. Anyway, don't order the medium if you usually like things a little roomier or are on the cusp - no matter what the sale price :)
