I have worn LL Bean shirts for years, and over the last several, I have been disappointed with how these shirts hold up. Four of them, purchased at the same time a little more than year ago, all show wear in the collars to the point that the are obvious and cannot be worn in public. At these price points, I would think I would get more than a year's use out of a shirt worn once per week (I rotate my shirt use daily so I never wear the same shirt more than once a week). That means, after a little more than 52 wearings, the shirt is done. That translates to a cost to me of about $1/week. Having said that, LL Bean has exchanged these shirts for me and is excellent to deal with. I just wish the quality was better.
I purchased one of these shirts. A few months later the collar fell apart. I sent it back. I received a new shirt. Once again, the collar is falling apart after a few months. Will never buy another one of these shirts.
