These are the ONLY dress shirts I will ever buy my husband. Their fit is great, sizing is accurate, good selection of colors, and shirts truly are wrinkle resistant. They come out of the dryer ready wear and my husband still looks fresh at the end of the day.
These shirts wear like iron! I am very, very impressed with the quality of these shirts.
I did purchase one shirt with a flaw in the fabric itself and after about 4 months of wearing and laundering weekly, the fabric actually shredded a bit in the collar. I contacted L.L. Bean and there was absolutely no question. I returned the shirt and a new one was sent out immediately!
It is so very rare to find such excellent customer service and product support.
Again, an excellent product backed by excellent customer service.
Great shirt but tears easily, weird stains as well

These are the only shirts my husband will wear, and he needs to wear one every day for work (full suit everyday). Unfortunately, they all tear at the elbow. The only reason we keep getting them is they are the only wrinkle-resistant shirts out there that are truly wrinkle-resistant. The last few shirts we ordered from the website also came with weird black oil stains all over them, straight from the package! Not even repeated washings would remove the oil stains so unfortunately 2 out of the 4 shirts we bought were not wearable and went into the bag we now keep for LL Bean returns. Love the shirt, just wish they were made with a more quality material.
Since friends and family know my husband wears only L.L. Bean oxford cloth shirts, he received one as a birthday gift. He noticed that the fabric just wasn't right as soon as he put it on. If it hadn't been a gift I would have considered returning it. We long for the days when Bean shirts were made in the USA--top notch all the way. Oh, and please bring back the ecru color. That was his favorite.
I echo what I read in other reviews. I am now returning the shirt that was exchanged for an identical shirt a year ago. The seams, cuffs, and front all show premature wear. The shirt is still wrinkle free... but it looks shabby. In fact, I have LL Bean shirts from my. college years that are in better shape.
I will give this one more try and hope that Bean has addressed the issue over the last 12 months of increasingly critical feedback from long- term customers.
