I love the initial quality of these shirts. I need tall sizes (37" sleeves) and have a difficult time finding other shirts that match the feel and wrinkle-free appearance that LL Bean offers. Unfortunately, I also find myself replacing shirts after 12 months of use. The shirts seem to wear prematurely (holes, fraying, fading) on sleeve creases, cuffs, and collar.
The same cannot be said for the "Sport" shirts that come in XL Tall. Why can't the quality of the Pinpoint Oxford match the quality of LL Bean's other shirts?
THe shirt is a very nice shirt initially but fell apart at crease lines after a year. Not what I'm used to with dress shirts, and not how LL Bean shirts used to wear. Lately a common problem with all Bean dress shirts.
Just got this shirt recently. Even with the numerical sizing, I got a perfect fit. The looks and fit are great. First time I wore it I received numerous nice comments. I'll be very happy for a long time if it lives up the standards of my other Bean Shirts!
I am disturbed by some of the recent reviews noting a deterioration in the quality of these shirts. I'm hoping this is an anomaly because these shirts are amazing and I don't know what I'd do without them! They are by far the best wrinkle free shirts I can find. I have tried other brands because there aren't many color choices in these(please add more colors!) and none of them compare to these shirts. They wash and dry like a dream. I have never once had to use an iron. Plus, my husband says they're very comfortable. For the ease and quality, they are incredibly reasonably priced.
