I've tried a lot of dress shirts in the $30 - $60 range. This is by far one of the best. Just bought two more. Only had one bummer I had to return; a seam came apart up in the back & shoulder area. I have noticed a little wear on the ends of the cuffs but they get washed weekly; after two years, I am not surprised.
I highly recommend this shirt. It really does not need to be ironed. At the very most, you may touch it up with an iron - I don't. It's plenty good for me right out of the dryer. My only suggestion is most dress shirts have two buttons on the sleeve for those of us with small wrists. Adding the extra button would make the shirt perfect!

I originally posted this as a concurrence to another review in error. The shirts look great but after less than ten washings they show serious wear. I am a retired Soldier and the uniforms I wore when deployed would show this kind of wear - but only after a year's hard field wear and less than modern laundry facilities! I have four of them I will be returning as in less than a year (washed less than 20 times) they have begun to look worn and raggedy - the French Blue has white edges everywhere, and holes are appearing at the fold/crease spots on the shoulder and the collar on all of them. Three have actually developed holes in the same spot on the left collar - 1/2 an inch from the roll of the neck and an inch from the collar's edge! I have much older LL Bean oxford shirts which pre-date the "wrinkle-resistant" trend and they show nowhere near this wear. Whatever it is they added to stiffen the cloth seems to wear the cloth needlessly. Please give us a choice between plasticized cotton - it really doesn't feel like cotton - and plain cotton. I still know my way with an iron!
I've had a few of this oxford over the years. They're comfortable & easy to care for. My only question is why the solid oxford colors (ex. French Blue solid) aren't yet available in Trim Fit? This is a glaring omission in Bean's product line. Please add Trim Fit for this style ASAP- thanks!!
