Shirt size and shape all great, but colour is way way paler than WWW-screen depicts. I selected "French Lilac" being a nice darker shade, but what arrived was a very pale, pastel lilac ... even though all catalog numbers indicate this was the French Lilac, disappointed. Will not return, but will have second thoughts about LLBean future orders. Found similar pasty pastel pale colour with Oxford Shirt, French Blue. Colours are VERY VERY much paler than depicted online.
If you don't mind replacing a shirt that is worn and laundered 30 times or less, these wrinkle resistant pinpoint oxford shirts are wonderful. I beleive the people who are totally enthralled with them have not owned them very long and the reviews with the complaints about fraying know what I am talking about. My husband has 12 dress shirts for work, 6 of them are LL Bean wrinkle reisitant pinpoints, so each one gets worn and laundered less than 26 times a year. As other reviewers have stated, they fray/get holes where they are creased as well as along the cuff edges, the collar points and the outer edge of the collar. The fabric more or less disintegrates. I have purchased the same type of shirt from another vendor and had the exact same experience. Both LLBean's and theirs are made in Malaysia. I think the "treatment" to the fabric to make it wrinkle resistent is weakening the fabric. With all that said... They do look great all day long, fit well and have a wonderful hand. So, nutty me buys a few as they are great for packing when my husband goes on business trips. (And, yes, LL bean will replace them and I have returned a few but that gets "old" and they do not always have the same stripe or color, etc.) And, one more "note". My husband has 2 broadcloth, not wrinkle reisistant, dress shirts that are over 3 years old and show absolutely no sign of wear.
