On the plus side, this shirt looks terrific at the end of the longest days and comes out of the dryer beautifully.
On the negative side: We purchased a blue pinpoint shirt in January 2015. My husband has worn it maybe 30 times since then (doesn't wear long sleeves in late spring through mid fall). The collar has holes along the fold all the way around. The same wear is happening on the cuff. The body of the shirt still looks great.
This is not the first of these shirts we have purchased from LLBean and every one of them has had this happen so this one will be returned for them to check out. The tattersal shirt we purchased in 2014 actually ripped on the crease of the sleeve as well.
Bottomline: I would have given these shirts a 5 star rating for looks and being wrinkle-free but they wear out way, way too soon. If you're in need of a shirt that looks as fresh at the end of the day as it did when you put it on in the morning and you don't mind that you'll have to replace it within a year, these shirts can't be beat (I've tried and the only one I found that comes close is double the price).

For 10 years been buying this shirt. Loved it. Last two orders have been a disaster. The shirts are ill-fitting, the cuffs fray quickly, color and style selection reduced, and always out of stock are some of my complaints.
I now pay slightly more to have a tailor make a very similar shirt that fits me perfectly. However I get the styles I want and the quality is what I expect.
How can LLB continue to not listen to their customers? I once was all things LLB. All they would have to do is read these posts!

I just received this shirt in Pink. I had to order Traditional Fit because it doesn't come in Slim Fit in this color.(Go figure.) I expected it to be roomy but the 15-1/2 collar measures 16-1/2" ! That's a full size off! I'll be returning for a refund.
After less than a year of having these shirts, my husband noticed the collar began to form a tear or slit at the seam. They've been washed in permanent press and pulled right out of the dryer at the minute it's done. Such a shame because these are LL Bean's only thin, wrinkle-free dress shirts that he can tolerate in Texas heat.
