"Received this as a gift from my mom for Christmas last year to use as my door mat in my entry-way. It's wonderful! I do not have a Fourier in my house--my front door leads directly into my living room so having a long super absorbent mat is a must. Traps dirt and water very well. To get the h2o completely off your shoes you do have to wipe your feet a few extra times, but a small price to pay for how well it works over all. My cat like to use it as a scratch pad and it's holding up nicely for that as well :) The natural color looks great against natural wood flooring."

"I bought two waterhogs five years ago, one small and one large. Both rugs still look new. There is no fading, no falling apart. Not a single fray of the rug, nor tear of the rubber. The large is big enough to leave wet/dirty shoes on and still open the door. Buying two more for an office. Love these rugs!"

"I have wooden floors and our condo has no real foyer, so you enter right in the living room which is a problem in weather. I got the larger one so that wet shoes can stay on it. The door opens over it no problem, it does not move and it cleans up with a vacuum. So far the two cats have not wrecked it like the past rug and they also cannot move it like the other one. It looks great as well and we have gotten many compliments. So it has stood up to pets and weather, stays in place and looks great while doing it."

"I went ahead and order one after reading all the other reviews. I can't believe how nice it looks and how well it works. Low profile, so doors don't hit it. Cleans easily with the vacuum. Holds it's color. Go ahead, spend the money. I don't think you'll be disappointed!"

"This rug rocks. It does everything it's promoted for, and looks great doing it! We have two dogs that go in and out of the yard all day long, so I was looking for a mat to put in the doorway of our newly-remodeled family room. It had to be attractive yet unobtrusive, easy to vacuum and wash, and had to stop the mud and water from being tracked in by our dogs. This fit the bill perfectly in every regard. We ended up buying a second one for the front door. Well worth the money. Love it love it love it."

"This rug is the absolute best catch-all for grass, water, mud, leaves, you name it. I hesitated for quite a few weeks before I talked myself into getting one. I always had the cheaper throw rugs, and thought it was ok. NOT ANYMORE. This rug stays in place, is thin enough that my door easily goes over it. Everyone that comes to my house thinks it's so pretty and the best part of that is it's functional, too."

"But, I finally did. I live in a "cabin in the woods" and tracked in debris are a constant battle. This mat really works. Especially good for wet, dirty shoes, leaves, etc. Seems high priced, but it does deliver."

"I have 2 labradors that slobber water everywhere after they drink. I used this mat to go under their food and water bowls, and it is fantastic. It absorbs the water, does not leak through, and stays dry on top if you step on it in bare feet.. Highly recommended !"

"These are awesome mats! I bought four mats based on other reviews, especially the one who said "can you love a door mat?". I use one inside our living quarters horse trailer, two outside covered house entrances and one at an uncovered entrance. They catch all the dirt and small bits of gravel and grit which are so common here in Arizona. We have tile floors in the house and vinyl in the trailer and they all stay debris free and there is not as much dog hair around, either. I just wish Bean offered more sizes as the one we use in the trailer doesn't quite fit the doorway."

"I love these rugs! The patterns are beautiful and they are very durable. I have two black labs and one of them loves to tug on the pile of throw rugs. She cannot do this with the waterhog rugs/mats. They are virtually indestructable. I have a large one in my laundry room (where their water dispenser is) and they are messy drinkers! No problem for this rug. I have 3 other large ones throughout my downstairs. You cannot go wrong with these. The last doormat you will buy!"

"I ordered the cranberry for my front entry but it was too big, however, it works wonderfully in our mud room. I looks brand new after each vacuuming and keeps the rest of the area cleaner. It fits great under doors. I want to get a smaller one for the front entry but the medium size is too small to be of help. Please make one in between in this pattern, it's decorative while oh, so practical. I must say again, your products are REAL quality and your service superb."

"We recently ordered both sizes of this mat, as well as a crescent shaped mat. They are nice quality. I actually wish that they came in a darker brown to better hide dirt and stains. I also wish the color matched between the leaf patterned mats and the crescent mat. But my one real problem is that the "medium" mat is really too small for some locations ( if this is "medium", a "small" would be like a wash cloth ), while the large one is too big. There is a real need for a mat in between these two in size."
