Recently I gave in to the fact I look better in V necks because I have a large bust line for my size. I always preferred to cover up with turtlenecks and the like. However, they made me look like a box. A V neck doesn't have to be full of cleavage and can still be flattering. All of my long sleeved V necks are spotted, so when I saw this shirt on the Daily Markdown, I thought I'd give it a try since, though not a V neck, the style would break up the expanse of my chest. I love it! It's flattering, and, though feminine, minimizes my bust line in some magical way. I ordered 5 of them and will be ordering more, as well as looking for this style with short sleeves. My only suggestion to Beans would be to have some prints and stripes available in this style so that my spills can be a bit camouflaged.
This is a nice lightweight top, but if you are petite the sleeves and body may be a bit long. I am 5'2" and got the XS. I will keep it to wear under sweaters for the cute neckline, but not alone, for it wrinkles easily.
I bought the Medium in Ivory, and it seemed true to size. I like the lower neckline (nice for necklaces!) It could be a tad longer for those who wear hiphuggers.
