I'm 5'2" tall, 130 lbs, 28" waist, 37" chest, and I'm usually in-between sizes small or medium (I'm size 36/38 in EU), but decided to order S, because I've read in some reviews that it runs a bit large.
Fit/Shape: as I expected, it is a bit tight on top for my 37", but otherwise it fits me nicely, it's not too snug, not too loose, and the length of the sleeves looks right.
Quality: it's made in Peru, 95% pima cotton, 5% lycra, and the material is stretchy and nice to touch. Construction quality is quite good, it feels it can take multiple washes without any trouble. I've already washed it once, and it looks just the same, no changes in color or shape. The actual color (Pacific Blue) is almost the same as the color shown in the catalog (tiny little bit lighter). I've uploaded a pic, but it came out much brighter, the real color is almost identical to the color in the catalog.
I love the new, longer and more "stylish" tops LLBean is now offering. This top is soft and lightweight of quality fabric. I haven't washed it yet, but haven't yet been disappointed in any LLBean tops. I need long sleeves year-round in my work environment, so this weight will be perfect. I love to shop LLBean sales with my LLBean Visa. What could be more perfect!
I am pleased with the styling of this shirt and the way it hangs. I ordered up a size because I don't like tight clothes. It is a refreshing addition to my wardrobe to have a tee with a more stylish neck.
I adore these shirts! I meant to only buy white and sugarplum, but ordered the aurora purple as well by accident. However, I loved the purple so much that I decided to keep it! The shirts are soft, well-made, and they fit perfectly. I am a classic 6 on top, and they XS fits perfectly (I like my tops to be mostly fitted). I ordered the small in sugarplum because the XS was sold out, and it is definitely looser in the arms and chest. But if you are someone who likes a slightly roomier fit, then it would be ideal. The length hits at the top of the buttocks (I'm 5'4"), and the scoop neckline is modest for a feminine touch. I would highly recommend this shirt, and may order more in the future!
