I ordered the mulberry and grey of this shirt and wear it all of the time! The neck line is low, but not too low, and the length is long enough to cover most of the hips as is the style now. I've washed it in warm water and dried it in the dryer numerous times with no shrinkage and no pilling. The only downside is that the sleeves are a big too long, but they push up nicely with no sliding and no stretching. I like the shirt so much that when I saw they were on sale, I ordered it in 2 more colors! Also, I bought the fleece-lined hoodie in the mulberry and they look great together!
I ordered one size down and am happy I did, but I LOVE this shirt !! It fits beautifully, washes so well that once it's dry it doesn't even need any ironing, and it's beautifully colored and I feel pretty, wearing it. For a "plain long sleeved t shirt", I think it packs quite a bang for the buck. In fact, I just looked down to see that I'm wearing the blue one right now!
I've been an LLBean shopper for years, one of the reasons is the correct sizing for me (106 lbs) . The Pima top is so off - I bought a small and it is huge. Shame, as otherwise nicely made.
It is not stylish at all, does not fit properly. I read the reviews and I ordered my size (thinking it would be smaller) and it was huge for me. I am not a small person and an M was too big.
