First, this is a very nice style option for another quality LLB pima shirt. I really like the shirred scoopneck. Finally I like to offer advice about fit because I like reading reviews about fit. IMO this shirt fits perfectly. 80% of the time I fit a size small shirt from Bean and this fit me in a size small. Not too tight and not too loose. However, I am petite and I've noticed LLB is adding length to their shirts. This one is long for a petite length person like me but it's acceptable. For my 5'2" frame, it falls mid-buttocks.
Great shirt for tossing on and going about your day. Don't have to worry about tugging it to cover your chest or pulling it down to cover your belly. It is just right. I am ordering more in different colors.
I really enjoy this striped easy care cotton top for summer. I purchased it in the blue and find it is bright and cheery. I don't like wearing solid white and thought that the striping offered kicked the coordinating outfits I wear with it "up a notch" Goes well with anything from denim jeans to casual dressy twills or khakis. Sizing is compatable with other LL Bean tops and I enjoy a little variety with the scooped neck shirring that it offers...very flattering on my not as curvy figure. I am sorry the green is no longer available on-line. I hope they continue this style line in future years and offer additional colors.
I ordered both the scoop-neck striped and a v-neck 3/4 length. The pima cotton is lovely both texture and look. However, the scoop-neck was too big and the v-neck (ordered in same size) was too small! very depressing.
