Not so thin that you can't wear it alone (maybe not in white), but thin enough that it's good for layering. Wish it was a bit more fitted, but works well under jackets & sweaters.
This top met all my expectations. It is comfortable and flattering, and the silky feel adds a little dress-up to this top. I bought it in white to wear with a slightly dressy pants set, and it worked very well.
This seems like a fine product but it showed off my fluffy muffin top a bit more than necessary. I ended up exchanging it for a regular LLBean shirred tee that is a little less fitted.
Here in flashy ("fleshy"?) San Diego, most T's in the stores are skin tight, scooped low enough to require a cami layer, and tissue thin. This shirt provides a bit of style in a cut that is modest enough to wear alone, is actually long enough to cover "the gap" and for me, when ordering my usual size, had just enough room without looking like a sail. Perfect!
