This is a beautifully styled and comfortable shirt. The shirred detail adds interest without being to frou-frou. Washes wonderfully and has not faded at all. I also bought the cream color and am very glad it is not see through. However, here in the desert, this kind of 'ultralight' fabric works in the fall and early spring; definitely not for May to September.
I was nervous about the shirring at the top, afraid it would be "revealing" or make me look busty (even though I am NOT). It is such a great style, does not feel like I am wearing a simple long sleeve T, it feels dressier and is very flattering. The shirring gives the simplicity of the shirt some definite interest and enhances your neckline (a nice benefit) without being revealing. I certainly recommend it, great price, quality is fantastic, washes so well and holds up to wear. Seasonless!
I first ordered one in black, and loved it so much I ordered one in cream. The fabric is soft, washes great, and I like the loose not clingy fit around the midsection. I had read the comments on the neckline being perhaps a little low, but I don't agree, it is perfect. Nice length too.
