True to size...the "quality" L.L. Bean is known for. If you like scuffs you'll love sliding into these at the drop of a hat. Secondary benefit...."you don't have to bend over.
Normally I wouldn't spend this much on slippers, but they are completely worth it. The moose skin leather is beautiful, and the calf-skin lining is very comfortable, there is even an arch support. And the sole is durable, with a lot of padding. Bottom line; they are incredibly comfortable, well constructed, and look great. You won't be disappointed.
I gave the slippers to my son who was very happy with the quality. He was wearing the LLBean soft slippers but they had worn out and wanted some that would stand up to frequent use. These should do it. They fit a little narrow but are comfortable and should stretch. I thought they were a little too pricey for slippers but if they last several years, they are worth it.
