I have been looking for something like this for some time and was a little concerned about getting the right size when I read some of the reviews. I have a narrow foot and have to deal with only being able to get medium width footware. These were the exception as they really fit my narrow foot and while I wear a 9 1/2 shoe the size 10 fit just fine.
When I first tried these slippers on, I was mortified. They just about killed my feet! I have a wide foot and these are a bit on the narrow side and seeing as to how much I paid for them, I decided to stick it out and give them an honest chance. So kept wearing them. Well, after a few more times wearing them, they stretched out and broke in,they became extremely comfortable! They mold right to your feet and now I wear them all the time when I am indoors. I'm glad I gave them a chance and if you find them snug, I suggest you do, too. You won't be disappointed.
Love these slippers. I have been bugging my husband to pick out new ones for some time now. He finally did but I was a little concerned at the reviews that said they run small. Not only does he have a very small foot, but it's also very wide. He normally wears an 8.5 so I ordered a 9 and they are picture perfect, size and width. They are so very nice, the leather, the look, the fit and the comfort. Thanks for another fine product.
Calfskin lined moosehide slippers replaced well worn deerskin slippers over my husband's great reluctance. (I had to hide the old faithfuls.) The second day wearing the 'new' slippers he stopped asking where I hid the old ones. Thanks L.L. Bean. You proved that old dogs can learn new tricks and old guys can learn to wear new slippers!
