I ordered these slippers for my husband. They look very nice and he wears them every evening. Even though we live in a really warm climate, these are still just right. The materials and construction seem very durable. Now, if we can just keep our puppy from being so attracted to them!!
Based on other reviews, I ordered one size up. That proved unnecessary and caused a wasteful return. I wear a size 11 boot and a size 11 slipper. The toe box is a bit snug when new, but if you are used to leather boots and shoes you already know it will stretch to comformity giving you a perfect fit eventually. If it was a perfect fit out of the box, it will be too loose in 6 months.
These slippers are fantastic. They keep my feet warm without sweating and having soles allows me to walk around outside with them without ruining the leather. True to LLBean quality standards, these will be beside for a long, long while! Caution - after reading previous reviews, I ordered 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than normal & they fit great.
