This was a gift and its very nice and comfortable, but the ties are all over the place. I have never seen a hammock where you can see the knots and the 3 inches of remaining cotton.
Our whole family is loving this hammock. My daughters ask daily if they can go and read in it. They started off arguing who would use it, then realized it was big enough for both of them. We had some serious storms recently, and it was very easy to take down, roll up, and place inside our porch, and set up again when the sun came out.
This Hammock just keeps going and going! I bought it 15yrs ago when I lived at 10,000ft in Colorado. It's been covered in snow for weeks, left out in the rain. Not to mention the beating it gets from the sun. I've had it in Costa Rica for the last 8 years and here it has endured countless tropical storms. Every couple years we will varnish the wood, and that's the extent of care it receives. This hammock is truly indestructable, and worth triple the price.
