I am a previous owner of several Hatteras Hammocks and have always loved them. I have just put this on my stand and have tried my new hammock out. I have some issues with this, because it seems to be sink very low when lying on it. I have extended the links quite a bit, and am still somewhat hesitant to keep it. It is comfy, but difficult getting out of it. I still making up my mind at this point. I don't remember my others being this way.
Have they changed the way they make them? or the rope they use?
This is the third extra large hammock I have ordered from LL Bean over about 12 years. The first two hammocks were great. The latest hammock was returned because the sizing was not the same as before - it was too long - and I didn't like to see frayed rope ends on a new hammock. I feel that the quality of this product is not the same as in years past. LL Bean was great about accepting the return of this item, but I wish they would bring back the old hammock!
