Ordered two hammocks and they are both shorter than the specifications in the product description. Our existing l.l. Bean stands have a 15' gap and these hammocks are at least two feet shorter than that. Plus the netting itself is so small that adults cannot lay down on it! If you want a wooden board under your neck, this hammock is for you.
LLBean once again proves to us that they are reliable and quick with orders. We received this hammock promptly and are happy with the quality and price. We often default to LLBean products, knowing that they will be good quality and guaranteed.
Despite other negative reviews, I purchased this hammock. I thought that LL Bean would surely have corrected the problems that others were having with this product. Not so. I hung the hammock on our stand, sat in it and hit the ground. No matter how much I tightened it, I still touched the ground when I sat in it. It's very poor construction, not like the last LL Bean hammock we had. I'm sending it back.
