ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
My daughter works outside in the cold as a veterinarian. She loves these pants because they are warm and comfortable, but look classy enough that she can wear them around clients.
I purchased these pants as well as the Mountain Laurel Soft Shell pants, intending to keep one or the other. I'm keeping the other!
These pants would no doubt keep one warm, but they're not for a curvy girl (like me). The waist was huge (with no way to adjust, save for a belt) and they were snug across the bottom. These pants are bulky and -- to me -- heavy. They even crackled when I walked! Otherwise, the construction seemed solid and they certainly seem worth the money, but for me, I wouldn't look forward to wearing them. They seem cumbersome.

Just received these last week and have had them on several times already! Mighty cold here in Chicago and the snow is still coming down. The pants fit me great. I am usually a 14 in pants, so I ordered size large. I have a little extra room in the waist, but the fit is great through hips and legs. I wear a belt and the extra room is great for tucking in extra layers. I can't believe how warm the pants are, and comfortable too. They are very well made and I expect I will have them for a long time. I couldn't be more thrilled with these pants. I can stay out in the cold and snow without ever getting cold. Used them today for snow blowing driveway and walking the dog. I wear long underwear under the pants. I can't see how you can go wrong with these snow pants. Wish I had them a long time ago!
These pants look great, but don't fit the described measurements at all. The rear and thighs are very tight, I couldn't sit down in them, and the waist is huge and cannot be adjusted.
