i was looking for a thinner snowpant, these are quite bulky and loose, waist was fine and it is elastic, so i would recommend sizing down with the generous cut thru legs and seat. i am 5'9" and got a med, and the length was fine. but still a bit bulky- but very warm.
When I first got these snow pants I notice that the bottom of them were a little wide. However, after wearing them today for the first time while shovelling, they fit comfortably and kept me extremely warm and dry. Well worth it even with the wide legs since they are made for snow and not fashion.
Pants are poorly sized. Medium was way too big. Small was still large in the waist but very tight (and I do mean tight) across the hips. You could not even bend properly in the small size. The bottom of the pant legs in both sizes were too large which would allow snow to get in even if they were over boots. Overall I was very disappointed in this purchase. I have been buying clothing from LLBean for a number of years and this is the first time that I have been disappointed.
Not what I was looking for. I was hoping for a gore tex outer and a microfleece liner for cold weather running and attending soccer/ football games in upstate NY where you can have wind, rain and snow at any time.
