I'm 5'8" and usually order medium tall in pants. These only came in regular length, so they are a bit short ... although with boots it is not so bad, but they just feel a bit short. Roomy enough to wear two pairs of long underwear if you really wanted to, but you won't because they are super toasty. A bit tight through the hips, but quite roomy around waist.
I was hesitant to purchase these pants online after reading reviews so I went to the store to check them out. I found them to be warm and comfortable, not high waisted like the suspender type ski pants but I wouldn't say they were low rise either. The fit well over all, were comfortable, and I had no issues with snow getting in at the waist or feet.
These pants are way too short. The website doesn't publish the inseams on snow pants which would be helpful. I tried these on with my boots, they hit the top of my boots before I sat down. The hips fit ok but there is a huge gap in the waist. I would have given them a chance if they had fit but had to return. I ordered a size medium. I am 5'9", 140 pounds with a 34" inseam. Bean's seems to be shrinking their clothes, the sleeves and legs are getting shorter and shorter....
I bought these pants for skiing in 6P. They are very cute in the seat (quite slim) but low rise, and the waist is large in comparison to the hip measurement. Good if you're pregnant, but I'd need a belt to close the gap. The product description did not say they are low-rise. I'm glad I used a $10 coupon to cover the return postage. I can't see low rise for ski pants-- too easy for the snow to get in. Doesn't anyone else ever fall? They are going back.
