I bought these snow pants for a trip to Antarctica and they were fabulous. I stepped in the Southern Ocean and stood on many a windy hill and yet never was cold nor wet. They are easy to layer under and the belt loop is helpful if you are wearing slippery base layers (or lose some weight...).
