I am returning these sheets because the fitted sheet is too deep for my mattress and the flat sheet is too long. I like ticking stripes and I like the fabric. Very disappointed.
The ticking stripe pattern is a good classic. However the quality of sewing is not good because the pillowcases were not cut on the straight of the fabric grain and therefore do not fold flat or lie squarely on the pillow. The percale is of good quality - too bad the sewing causes issues.
I longed to find the kind of soft but "crisp" percale that we slept on in the 1950s while I was growing up. I might have known it would be Bean's that would have what I'd been looking all over for! I've spent 6 times as much and not been anywhere near as happy as I am with these beautiful sheets. They feel great and they are beautiful quality goods. I gotta get me a clothes line so I can smell the sun on 'em too!
