ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, very warm, well made
I ordered this hat to use in off-shore winter tuna fishing operations off of the N.C. Coast. The hat has excellent construction, is very comfortable and has been 100% waterproof to date. The adjustment mechanism in the rear of the hat allows you to lock it down to your head securely so that even in 40+ mph winds it stays in place (without having to lower the ear flaps). The XXL size is perfect for my 7 7/8 inch head. I plan to order several extras so as not to be without this excellent hat. If you absolutely positively have to have warm and comfortable waterproof protection for your head and ears this is the hat for you.
This is the perfect go-to hat for most outdoor winter activities. The ear flaps are low key and not goofy. They provide excellent coverage, but are not bulky when not in use. Waterproof top is great in snow, visor is just right. It is ecaxtly the hat my husband was looking for and he loves it.
I purchased this hat because I was tired of having cold ears when shoveling. This hat does a wonderful job keeping ears back of your neck warm and being windproof really does a nice job on those blowing cold days. My only complaint of the hat is that it comes down to far and pushes my glasses. Other than that a very good product.
