I bought this sign back in November/December of 2012 for my room mate and myself depicting each of our hometowns. My roommate has since moved out and with a new roommate to replace him, I thought it would be nice to get for him another matching sign depicting his hometown. I was extremely disappointed to see that LLBean has decided to change the design of the sign from 2 years ago. The new design will not match with my sign. I will echo the sentiments of others that this new design is aesthetically inferior to the previous design and would urge LLBean to bring back the old design.
A sign for the hometown of the bride and the groom is a great way for them to remember their roots as they start their new life together. Of course a sign for their new hometown together completes the set! Personal and much appreciated. They look fantastic and are a good conversation starter too.
As a military spouse, we have bought these for each duty station, including Germany...and we love them! I was attempting to order one for our current station in South Korea. However, now they have changed and are all capital letters, as well as not allowing for international cities. I am so disappointed! Please allow us to order the previous style!! Please!??
We've been purchasing these signs over the years for every duty station. They are perfect and I get many compliments on them. Unfortunately, I will have to find a new way to display our travels. This new design is quite bland. Also, putting the new design under 6 signs of the old design looks tacky. Very disappointed in this change. Bring back the old design! Or sell them both!
