Bought for hosts of family reunion at their Lake Winnipesaukee summer home. They were beyond thrilled with meaningful personalized gift! Rather than use city/state wording, this sign spells out the house name plus "Bear Island NH" on the lower line. I wanted the actual island location rather than the nearest zip code; the extremely helpful LLB phone rep found the precise longitude/latitude online! Light weight & compact, strong construction made the sign easy to pack in a suitcase to bring from Texas. Size will fit somewhere in any room. Could do colleges, clubs, business, etc.
I just received my Cape Elizabeth sign today, much earlier than estimated. It's absolutely beautiful and I hung it above a photo taken at Portland Head Light.
The only reason I think someone might not love it, is that I ordered white and it has a definitely light blue-green tint to it. I personally still love it, as it fits in with the decor, but just be aware of that. I'm attaching a picture of it.
