Got two of these as a Christmas gift this year - so wonderfully made and I like the shade of red and blue of the ones we were given. Going to add a third in the green shade, just wish they had a yellow or a beige in the color options!
Good quality as usual. Bought 4 different towns for daughter who has lived in four different places in her life. Wish they had more colors and would do international cities
The staff at LLBean went above and beyond to help me create a sign I wanted to give as a gift. Instead of using the town and state, they worked with me so the street name, town and state were all included with the longitude and latitude. It looked terrific and was a great gift for a new home owner.
We received a sign like this as a Christmas gift a few years ago and liked it so much that we ordered (what we thought was) the same sign for a family member. The sign that we received, however, was not finished nearly as well as the sign we received from L. L. Bean two or three years ago. In particular, the edges were not painted at all and, though the sign is a rustic sign, it did not have the quality of our sign. We know that L. L. Bean is the marketer for this sign, because I called the manufacturer (name on the back of the sign) who told us you were the only ones through whom we could order the sign. Long story short, my wife does decorative furniture painting as was able to paint an appropriate finish to the edges of our new sign and it will be given as a Christmas present. Still a good product, but not quite the same quality as before.
