I have given these signs in the past to young couples. As we become a more mobile society, it is good to remember your roots. The sign itself is well made. I will continue to buy these signs for gifts.
Ordered the longitude/latitude sign for my husband for Christmas. It arrived 3 days after I placed my order and it is a great quality piece at a great price. Plan on ordering another as a gift for a friend who is very difficult to buy gifts for.
While I love the concept of this item, I was disappointed to see that the one I received appeared to be a "rush" job in that the paint wasn't completed dry causing the background color to be more blue than green where either a finger or wrapping material had stuck to the edge of the surface. The eye is drawn to that flaw rather than to the lettering, etc.
I ordered two of these for friends who have relocated from another town/state - I had one made for their old location, and one made for their new home - they are well made, delivered quickly and will make great gifts.
