I have, thus far, purchased three of these Latitude/Longitude signs as gifts. In each case they were celebrations of new homes for the recipients. These signs are well made, a good value and a personally meaningful way to celebrate specific locations (e.g., a first home, a vacation home, etc.). Recipients have loved them!!
I got this for my husband, born/raised in our town and he loves it! It's a great gift for someone who you're not sure what to get for them, or just a neat thing for someone who loves where they live. The sign looks exactly as I expected - it's nice, doesn't weigh a lot, and works. The only problem is... the coordinates are off by at least 15 miles as the crow flies. It isn't even the center of the ZIP code area! I haven't contacted Customer Service yet, but I trust they'll come through for me.
What to get friends in Pennsylvania who need nothing... the longitude / latitude sign seemed like the perfect gift. I love the look of it. Have not exchanged gifts w/them as yet..but I sure they'll love it. They love 'conversation' pieces.
