Very cool concept! But the construction could be better. Not sure how to describe it… the face is just a printed layer of something applied to the wood and the nail notch in the back for hanging isn’t level. Just an idea, it would be nice if you could pick your preferred lat and long measurement of choice (degrees minutes seconds or decimal minutes).
Very very happy with this purchase. Only wish LLBean would be able to add locations outside of the U.S. Would love to have more of these, including cities in other countries.
My parent's shore home in Ortley Beach, NJ, was damaged by Superstorm Sandy in October of last year. For Christmas gifts, I bought signs with "Ortley Beach" on them - one for each of my daughters who vacationed there every year for the past 25 years. After undergoing repairs for the past 6 months, the house is as good as new. I recently bought another sign for the house for my dad to hang on the newly painted walls. The house is done in soothing grays and blues and the red sign will add a pop of color.
