I ordered 2 Waterhogs doormats for the front and back doors, and 1 day later we had a blizzard. I can't tell you how great it was to have them in place, catching the melting snow as people went in and out. They work very well.
I have had this mat 5 years, and while it is attractive and durable, it is not useful. A person is unable to stand on the mat upon entering and then shut the door without moving off the mat onto the floor with wet shoes.
How can you get excited about a door mat runner? But with this one you can. I love it. I could never find a large enough mat that looked good for our front entrance. This is absolutely perfect. So far, it is certainly a waterhog and exactly what we needed with all the snow we get here.
