I have had this mat too long to remember when bought. Buying a second one. Do not know why I have been waiting. This mat does the job. Traps dirt,snow,ice,mud,grass, lint and hair. With 3 teenagers that play sports all year long this mat is the first line of defense at my house.
I purchased three of these doormats a few months ago, and they are the best doormats I have ever had. They keep their shape, they clean fabulously and I love the neutral color as it goes with everything. I am now here to buy two more for my two downstairs doors. I highly recommend these doormats and they are well worth the price.
This is my first LL Bean review, as I usually do not take the time to voice opinions, one way or the other, about items that I buy. However, I could not help but want to express what a great buy this is for me!
I have spent a lot of time and money looking for the "perfect" rug for my front door entryway. It gets a fair amount of traffic, both people and dogs, and is a combination of tile and carpet. The entryway is also very visible from the living room and dining room of my house, as well as when going up/down to the upper level - so the rug has to look nice as well as perform. This rug fits the bill!
The rug fits my entryway perfectly, it looks beautiful, it stays in place, and, it handles the traffic in and out without issue. We recently had some snow and of course it was tracked in onto the rug. The rug kept the snow in place (not allowing it to be dragged all over other parts of the house), and was dry within minutes.
I highly recommend this rug for both looks and functionality!
I will be looking to buy another one for my back doorway, however, this is a carpeted surface, so I dont know if it will stay in place as well.
I purchased the large crescent doormat for indoor use at the front door. The texture is softer than the waffle waterhog mat, so if you are barefoot, it's not so rough. (Our waffle waterhog mat is in the mudroom and is doing its job wonderfully!) It is very elegant looking and I'm not embarassed receiving guests when I open the door. Highly recommended! The color is a brown shade. Goes perfect with our off-white trim and soft yellow walls and maple door. Always very satisfied with LL Bean quality!
