i purchased this doormat to use in my laundry room coming in from my garage and i love it. it grabs leaves, dirt, everything that i do not want tracked inside the house LOL! i bought the crescent shape and then went back for the rectangle one for the door leading from my laundry room to the patio. love both of these, also the cat sharpens her claws on it and it doesnt harm the doormat (she's not even my cat but sneaks inside to eat my cat's food after sleeping in my garage all night). oh yes, she has a tough life! these mats are wonderful, i am ordering a new one in the light brown color for the front door. as always, a great LL Bean product and nice quality. :)
We purchased this for our country home, but it looks great and will be functional on the hardwood floors in the kitchen in my primary residence. So we're buying another. Good job, as usual, LLBean.
Large size in khaki with coordinating crescent doormat
We bought the large size of the Waterhog Crescent Doormat Runner in khaki color for indoor use in our high traffic kitchen, and I absolutely love it. It looks gorgeous and it's durable and easily cleaned after spills or foot traffic dirt from my husband, kids and pets. It's stiffer on sock feet but not unpleasantly so. I'm very happy with it and the coordinating smaller crescent doormat we bought at the same time. I'd definitely would purchase again and recommend to others.
Just ordered mat #8 for our new home. We've purchased several of these since moving to the mountains at 7200' elevation and love them.
Two are outdoors, completely exposed to the elements, four are located in covered outdoor entry ways and the last is in our garage, where we enter the home from our cars.
We have two dogs that are constantly coming in/out. These mats do a fabulous job of reducing the amount of dirt & water entering the house. They are durable, heavy and do not turn up at the corners over time. I periodically pick them up, shake them out & put them back down. They collect & capture all kinds of debris, helping me keep dirt, sand & water off our stone floors.
We have several patterns & shapes - they all work beautifully. I can't say enough good things about the quality & performance of this product.
