Excellent product. Does everything they claim. Have two of them and bought several others for relatives. Missing from the reviews .... it's the BEST cat scratch pad I have ever found! The cats love it and can't destroy it.
We bought the largest Crescent Doormat for our new "mudroom", which we made out of the garage entry closet by removing the doors and hanging up coat hooks. This rug is the perfect size to handle a family of clomping in all together from outside, hands full of stuff and feet full of sand in summer, snow in winter. This doormat catches everything we drop on it, and doesn't let it move into the house. For the first winter ever, I've not had to sweep road sand and salt out of our living spaces!
We bought a second runner for the front door, as our daughters tend to come in the front when they're outside in the snow. It catches all the boots perfectly.
Now hubby says he wants one for in front of the gas fireplace--that's where the kids tend to pull off their LLBean snowsuits, hats, and gloves when they come in the front door!
We are a Waterhog-appreciating family. It has form, function, and style. You want a doormat that catches it all? This is it. And it vacuums up good as new, no matter what you drop on it, even with my little junky Eureka vacuum! It does take a bit longer due to all the channels, but the end result is that it looks absolutely gorgeous. You don't even need to vacuum it all that often.
Now if I could just get our cat to stop sharpening her claws on it--not that you can tell...
I have quite a few of this design and other designs of the waterhog mat and am quite pleased with the hold up the looks and easy cleaning. If something gets on it that needs washing just hose it off it comes out beautiful. Also this is made in the U.S.A. another bonus.Try one you will be happy with the results.Great with pets
The crescent mat does just what I hoped it would do. It lies perfectly flat on the tile in front of the front door. Even after vigorously rubbing shoes on it, or after the cats have latched onto it as a horizontal scratching post, it doesn't budge from its position. I'm buying another for the garage door.
